SRRS årsbok har varit en återkommande diskussion i SRRS styrelse under åtminstone de senaste tio åren. Den tar mycket tid att göra, kostar ganska mycket och tyvärr är det få som köper den. 

SRRS styrelse har därför beslutat att årsboken från och med i år kommer att ersättas med en årskrönika som skickas ut till alla medlemmar tillsammans med Ridgeback-Nytt.

Formatet blir en egen bilaga, ungefär som Jakthund och Utställning som skickas ut tillsammans med tidningen Hundsport. Även innehållet kommer att ses över. Bland annat kommer utställningskritikerna att utgå och istället finnas tillgängliga på annat sätt. Exakt var väntar vi med att bestämma eftersom det i princip inte varit några utställningar under 2020. 

Ekonomiskt beräknas kostnaden för årskrönikan att bli något högre för SRRS än kostnaden för årsboken. Men det känns som en betydligt bättre investering att lägga tid och pengar på något som alla medlemmar tar del av. Och inte minst så ökar det förhoppningsvis också kunskapen om allt som sker i vår förening!
